Engine and drivetrain faults:

It’s best to get any problems with your engine or drivetrain taken care of as soon as possible to minimise any further damage. Something as simple as an engine misfire can degrade your engine and drastically reduce fuel efficiency over time, so it’s best to take care of these problems as they occur.

Common engine faults that we diagnose and repair include:

Our workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art electrical diagnosis equipment, and if you’ve got an older vehicle, our team are also experienced with manual diagnosis of engine faults. For more complex auto-electrical faults that are difficult to diagnose, for example on cars with modified electrics, we do have an expert local auto-electrician that we can refer the problem to. Likewise, we have an air-conditioning specialist we refer aircon problems to.

Braking, suspension and steering faults are usually the most disconcerting to deal with, as they’re what keep your car driving safely and any faults with them are usually quite noisy. It’s best to bring your car into our workshop as soon as possible when these faults occur to ensure your car is safe to drive. We can drive the car with you to correctly identify the braking, steering or suspension fault before reproducing it in our workshop.

We aim to provide budget-friendly solutions for our clients wherever possible, as vehicle safety is an absolute necessity. We’ll go over what your options are to repair the fault and if possible, look at preventative solutions to stop the problem from re-occurring.
